Wi-Fi issue

Post by Vladde »

Hi, Successfully installed Robonect in my HQ420 (HX V1.2, Wlan 1,7) , but I have issues connecting to it, and Robonect have issues fetching weather reports.
The problems occurs when I connect directly to Robonect on 192.168.2.1 aswell as if I use it´s static home WLAN IP 192.168.10.120.
The problem is that the WLAN dropp´s or rather only pops up now and then for a few seconds. I have tried 2 different WLANS and physical accesspoints, but the problem also occures with direct Win10PC>Robonect 192.168.2.1 when Robonect isnt connected to a WLAN.

The distance between AP and Robonect during tests has been anything between 2-10m, and with direct PC>Robonect attempts anything between 2 and 5m

Any ideas ? Appreciate any suggestions

Example over AP ( Besides the IP itself it looks identical accesing Robonect directly)

ping 192.168.10.120 -t

I had the same issues after install because the batteries were not sufficiently charged. The module started but then shut off again when the mower shut down to save power.

It's probably not the same problem, but it might be worth checking.

Thanks for the reply Tamaz, unfortunatly not the same cause.
Evebn with a fully charged and healthy battery I have the same issue. Right now I pulled the 420 from the docking station and started the connection attempts with the same poor result.
Thanks anyway
